07.01.2007 - Cimone Volley-Sisley Treviso 2-3. Wednesday evening Top Teams Cup at Palapanini
The Cimone Volley-Sisley Treviso match was two and a half hours of great volleyball with high emotions and an extremely high level of technical volleyball. The match ended with a score of 2-3 (20-25 27-29 25-22 7-15) and was played in a splendid Palapanini, covered in the team colours of yellow and blue by the 5100 spectators to the sold-out match.Cimone Volley, without Sartoretti and with Messana not at his best, which caused him to give way to Sangiorgio after two sets, managed to catch up from 0-2. It was a game full of adrenaline and amazing goals (with Felipe as the main protagonist) which amazed the spectators at the Temple of Volleyball. In the fifth and decisive set Treviso started strongly and couldn't be stopped. Daniele Bagnoli can smile and his brother Bruno can be satisfied with the effort his boys gave.However, the point gained over Cimone Volley is important in the race for the Italian Cup.

This week sees two important matches for Cimone Volley: Wednesday evening at 20.30 at Palapanini Cimone Volley faces Czestochowa, the first round of the quarter finals of Top teams Cup, while on Sunday Ricardhino and his teammates will play at Latina in the last round of the first round of the A1 TIM League.

04.01.2007 - Sunday at 18.00 at Palapanini Cimone Volley vs Sisley Treviso : Tickets available
The Cimone Volley – Sisley Treviso match on Sunday at Palapanini is coming nearer and the Cimone Volley fans are as always cheering their team along.
Sunday January 7 at the Palapanini in Modena (18.00 start) sees the Italian Volleyball Derby between Modena and Treviso, a match valid for the 12th day of play of the A1 TIM League championship.
More than 1500 tickets have already been snatched up in the advance sale of tickets, with another 2000 being added for the Cimone Volley season ticket holders. Around 1000 tickets for the stands are still available. Tickets prices as follows: Stands 10 Euro (reduced 8 Euro).
The Palapanini ticket offices will open at around 16.15 on Sunday January 7.
The forty-year team
We are in the last days for the voting for the election of a super ‘timeless’ team: ‘The 40 year team,’ one of the initiatives that Pallavolo Modena is undertaking within the celebrations of forty years of volleyball at Modena.
On Sunday 7 (the last day for voting), inside the ‘House Organ Palla in Banda,’ distributed free of charge at the Palapanini, fans will find a form to use to vote.
It is also possible to vote by sending an email to info@pallavolomodena.it.

04.01.2007 - Tomorrow, January 5, Messana and Sidao press conference
Tomorrow morning, Friday January 5 at 12.00 in the press room at the Palapanini in Modena (ground floor), two Cimone Volley players, Dario Messana and Sidao will be available to discuss the match scheduled for Sunday January 7 at Palapanini (at 18.00) when Cimone Volley will play Sisley Treviso (12th round of the A1 TIM League).

The tension is growing for the Cimone Volley-Sisley Trevisoo match on Sunday January 7 at Palapanini in Modena (18.00 start) , a match valid for the 12th day of play for the A1 TIM League championship.
Around 500 tickets have already been snatched up in the advance sale of tickets, which continues at the Palapanini offices (Viale dello Sport 25), open everyday from 8.30 to 12.30 and from 14.30 to 18.30 or through the branches of the Banca Popolare dell’Emilia Romagna. Tickets prices as follows: Stalls 14 Euro (reduced 10 Euro). Stands 10 Euro (reduced 8 Euro).
The Palapanini ticket offices will open at around 17.00 on Sunday January 7.

30.12.2006 - Three golden points for Modena: Marmi Lanza Verona - Cimone Volley 1-3
After the victory against Trento, Cimone Volley have won another match: The yellow and blue team conquered PalaOlimpia from Verona 3-1, winning 3 precious points in the race for a ranking in the first 8 teams at the end of the 1st round.
It was an important event for the whole group with the 1st string player Tagliatti in place of the unavailable Rak and with Giombini who during the first set substituted Sartoretti who was forced to come off. The prize for the best player of the match went to the Brazilian shooter Ricardinho.
Cimone Volley will return to the court on January 7 at Palapanini in the twelfth day of play: The super match against Sisley Treviso is scheduled for 18.00.

26.12.2006 - Show at Palapanini: Cimone Volley - Itas Trentino 3-1. Saturday 30 away game at Verona
Bruno Bagnoli's team beat Trento 3-1 on Boxing Day at Palapanini in front of 4000 spectators (25-15 25-20 23-25 28-26). The match consisted of two hours of great volleyball and a perfect Cimone Volley team for two and a half sets, before the recovery of Trento, although the match was finished by the end of the fourth set. A big cheer for all of the Cimone Volley team and the best player on court, Andrea Sartoretti : Sartor-ace notched up 8 winning goals and 30 overall points for the team.
Cimone Volley gained 3 very important points in the race to take part in the Italian Cup (decided by the first 8 teams ranked at the end of the 1st round). Cimone Volley will return to court on December 30 for the away game at Verona.

20.12.2006 - Tonight at 20.30: Prisma Taranto - Cimone Volley (Replay of the ninth day of play)
Tonight, Wednesday 20, at 20.30, Cimone Volley will replay the ninth day of the Italian Championship of the A1 TIM League, when they play Prisma at Taranto in a demanding and difficult match.
The programme for Cimone Volley is very intense: The team will return to the court on December 26 at Palapanini in the tenth day of play against Trento, on December 30 they will play at Verona (eleventh day) and on Sunday January 7 they will play Sisley Treviso at Palapanini (12th round). The first round of the Top Teams Cup heats are scheduled for Wednesday January 10 at Modena against Cestochowa's polish team, while on January 14 the first round of the A1 League will come to an end and Cimone Volley will play at Latina.

17.12.2006 - Cimone Volley are smiling in Europe as they win their group and go through to the next round of the Top Teams Cup
Cimone Volley return victorious on the European scene. Sartoretti and his team have won the group of Maribor in Slovenia, thus passing through to the next phase of the Top Teams Cup.
On the third day of the competition (after winning 3-1 against Omonia Nicosia on Friday and 3-0 against the home team of Ok Maribor on Saturday), today, Sunday, Bruno Bagnoli's team won 3-0 against Aich Dob's austrian team (25-15 25-21 28-26). Cimone Volley played with Bellini as setter, Giombini as opposite striker, Tagliatti and Sidao as middle strikers, Casтli and Felipe as smashers and Riccardo Sangiorgio as libero. Over the course of the match, the other Cimone Volley players also made an appearance and it should be pointed out that the captain Andrea Giani returned to the court, scoring four points. And so Cimone Volley win the group and go through to the next phase. On January 10 at Modena, Cimone Volley play the first game against Cestochowa's polish team, with the return match taking place the following week in Poland.
On Wednesday 20 Cimone Volley will play in the ninth day of play of the A1 TIM League at Taranto.
