24.01.2010 - TRENKWALDER WON 3-1 VS SISLEY: 5000 IN PALAPANINI
Trenkwalder won the 97th "derby d'Italia" vs Sisley Treviso after a great match, with splendid performances and a play off intensity .
Great emotions for the 5000 in a hot Palapanini and a prepared audience (Anastasi, Daniele Bagnoli, Cantagalli, Blangè, Gortzen…).
In the first set Treviso played well with the diagonal Ricardinho- Fei . Trenkwalder didn't break up and played point on point during the second, finding the winning wriggle with Diaz . In the third Dennis started making points, Modena goes 24-20 but Ricardinho went beating and drawed . The match was great and a block of Dennis closed 35-33.
In the fourth Modena gave the rhythm of the match , Sisley resisted , but gialloblu team could find the winning play, which gave three golden points for the list.
Next week end Modena and Treviso will be busy in the final four of Coppa Italia in Montecatini : trenkwalder will play the semifinal vs. Trento , Sisley vs Cuneo.

More than 400 guests, friends, and partners to whom Pallavolo Modena wanted to Wish happy holidays .
Yesterday night (17th December) Took place the Christmas Party of the Gialloblu team .
The location was really evocative because Palasport Giseppe Panini was decorated and the guests were at tables on the parquet . The Dinner was cooked by the chef of Villa Casino Riva.

13.12.2009 - TRENKWALDER MODENA-ARAN CUCINE ABRUZZO PINETO 0-3
PALAPANINI (MODENA) – Great undertaking for Aran Cucine Abruzzo Pineto who won in Palapanini and obtained the second consecutive victory in its championship and important points.
For trenkwalder was an abrupt stop: Gialloblu finished at the 4th place the first half of the championship and in the quarter finals of Coppa Italia they will meet Lube Macerata (Palapanini 30th December at 8,30pm).
the one of today was a match that the guests had always managed, led by a great Osvaldo Hernandez . On the contrary the Gialloblu team couldn't create any difficulties to the defense of the guests and they did too much mistakes in counterattack. In the third set Trenkwalder could have opened the match on 22-20, but some mistakes in attack gave the 3 points to Pineto.Hernandez was awarded as MWP.
Prandi ( Modena's coach: “It's difficult to give a thchnical explanation to this defeat, may be we can say that among what it didn't work there was the intensity of beat- block- defense. It's an alarm? I think so, we missed the intensity we showed in other matches. Now we have to restart and go on working".
Fant (Pineto's coach)" in the last 2 weeks we worked a lot but I didn't expect to see so fast great results as the one in Modena. we played a great match with all our players, Modena wasn't really in good form, and we were good in take advantages of that.

Sunday the first half of the A1 TIM season will close and for the 15th shift at Palasport G. Panini in Modena there will be Trenkwalder-Aran Cucine Abruzzo Pineto, an important match for the Gialloblu that are now at the 3rd 'place in results.

An important result the one of the tie break who saw Trenkwalder beating Yoga Forli. Modena won at 5th set, but may be the most satisfied team is the one of Maric e Popp, who were able to make their team play the right way .
Forlì is penultimate in results but they are looking for important points to fight to avoid relegation. Same aim for the team of Mr. Silvano Prandi, second place in results and eager to confirm the position which can guarantee a better position for the Tim Cup.

COPPA ITALIA: Winning vs Forlì, trenkwalder Modena obtained a place among the first four at the end of the first half of the regular season. 16.11.2009 - CAMILLO PLACì AWARDED IN SPECCHIA AND VISITING THE SCHOOLS
Camillo Placì, assistant coach of Trenkwalder Modena and Bulgarian National team, will live two important moments tomorrow, on Tuesday and on Wednesday in Specchia (Lecce), his mother country.
On Tuesday 17th November at 7.00 p.m there will be the “Serata d’Onore for Camillo Placì” at the Sala Consiliare, a municipal administration’ s iniziative dedicated to the volleyball technician from Specchia in order to give him a public recognition for having distinguished himself in Italy and all over the world for sport worthiness, promoting the image of sport from Salento at the highest levels and bringing prestige to his native community. On Wednesday 18th Placì will meet the students of Morciano di Leuca, Salve and Specchia’s institutes for the iniziative “Campioni si diventa…”.
Camillo Placì, sport’ s Ambassador and honorary president of the School Pallavolo Salve, after having conquered the Olympic bronze medal with the Russian national team in Peking (covering the role of assistant coach of Vladimir Alenko, coach of the National volleyball team of Moscow), he became the Ambassador of volleyball from Salento in the world.
Last September Bulgaria obtained the third place in European Championship after 26 years, winning the bronze medal thanks to Placì too. Furthermore, Bulgaria had already qualified for the World Championship of volleyball that will be played in Italy in September 2010.
Camillo Placì, who was born in Specchia (Lecce) on 11th november 1956, will continue to be side by side with Silvano Prandi, still with the Bulgarian volley national, with whjch they submitted a biennial contract that foresees a renewal of the agreement for other two seasons (until the London Olympic games of 2012 and always with the assistance of the coach from Salento) in case of good results at the Europeans of 2009 and at the World Championship of 2010.
The technician from Salento has a significative professional background which began in Puglia during the eighties with Volley Specchia and then with Victor Village Ugento, Calmiera and between A and B male series, but his first arrival in Cuneo was in 1997, when Silvano Prandi had already had the chance to appreciate his efficient collaboration. Then, after some seasons with Taviano, Corigliano and Pineto, in 2005 Placì was called again from Prandi in order to organize and follow the youth team of Trento. Finally, when the Professor returned to Cuneo to guide the line-up of A1 in 2005, he asked the Society to have Placì as his assistant on the bench of Bre Banca Lannutti, collaboration that ended during the last championship and with the arrival of Trenkwalder Modena.
The collaborative relationship between Placì and the Russian Federation was also born in Cuneo.
In march 2008 Silvano Prandi gave hospitality to Vladimir Alekno, coach of Moscow National team, who was in Italy for some technical updates. During the examination of the work done by the technical staff of Bre Banca Lannutti, the russian coach was so positevely impressed that he asked to Silvano Prandi the possibility of availing himself of his precious assistant, in order to prepare the Russian team as well as possibile for his adventure at the World League 2008 and at the Olympic games of Peking, bringing for two times the team at the third place.
