07.03.2007 - IT'S HERE: TODAY AND TOMORROW THE FINAL FOUR OF TOP TEAMS CUP AT THE PALAPANINI!
Everything is ready: today and tomorrow, Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 March, the Palapanini in Modena will host the Final Four of the Top Teams Cup.
It is an event surrounded by excitement: Cimone Volley, Iskra Odintsovo, Autocommerce Bled and Rabotnicki Skopje are in contention of this prestigious european title.
The first semifinal between Bled and Skopje starts at 15.00 and then at 18.10 the second semifinal between Cimone Volley and Iskra Odintsovo will take place.
The Palapanini ticket ofices will open around 14.00.
For the occasion Pallavolo Modena has made a celebratory T-shirt of the event.
The T-shrt will be on sale from the 'Torcida Giallablu' and 'Kollettivo Gialloblu' stands in the entrance hall of the Palapanini for 5 Euro.
All under 18's who buy a ticket on Saturday or Sunday will receive the T-shirt free. On buying the ticket from the Palapanini box office, the under 18's will receive a ticket which they can exchange for a T-shirt at the aforementioned stands.

The expectation for the event of the weekend is growing.
The Final Four of Top Teams Cup will take place on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 March at the Palapanini in Modena: two days of great european volleyball, a fascinating moment of sport organized by Pallavolo Modena with the support of the Province and Town Council of Modena.
The event will be also the occasion to promote good habits in regards to the protection of the environment. There are numerous events scheduled in collaboration with the Hera Group and the Town Council of Modena.

05.03.2007 - THE FINAL FOUR OF TOP TEAMS CUP AT THE PALAPANINI THIS WEEKEND.
TOP TEAMS CUP FINAL FOUR
The week that will end in the big event of the weekend has begun. A European final will be held in Modena: the Final Four of the Top Team Cup will be played at the Palapanini on Saturday 10 and Sunday March 11.
Tomorrow morning, Tuesday March 6, at 12.00 at the 'Sala del Fuoco' of Modena's Town Council, a press conference will be held.
While Cimone Volley are training in the gym, the advance ticket sales continue.
From today, Monday March 5, tickets are available for all the fans, not only for the season ticket holders of Cimone Volley, who have been able to pre-choose their seats in the last few days.

ITALIAN CUP: CIMONE VOLLEY PLAY SISLEY TREVISO ON THURSDAY AT 20.30 AT BASSANO
Cimone Volley throws itself into the Italian Cup week: between Wednesday and Thursday the quarter finals will be played to establish who goes through to the Final Four which will be played on Saturday and Sunday (March 3/4) at Milan in Volley Land. Thursday evening at 20.30 Cimone Volley will play Sisley Treviso at Bassano del Grappa.
TOP TEAMS CUP FINAL FOUR
On Saturday 10 and Sunday March 11 the Final Four of the Top Teams Cup will be played at the Palapanini in Modena.
Tickets are already on sale and Pallavolo Modena has decided to postpone for a few days the pre-emption of tickets for the season ticket holders of Cimone Volley.
The season ticket holders for Cimone Volley season 2006/7 will therefore be able to buy advance tickets for the Final Four until Saturday March 3. Such a right can only be carried out at the Palapanini offices in Modena.
Tickets and season tickets for the Final Four for the seats that are not for advance ticket buyers will be also available and on sale.

06.02.2007 - WEDNESDAY AT PALAPANINI TOP TEAMS CUP. REDUCED TICKET PRICES
The expectation is growing for the match in Europe. After the great victory over Macerata on Sunday and the second place in the A1 Tim League, Cimone Volley is concentrating on Top Teams Cup.
On Wednesday evening at 20.30 at the Palapanini in Modena, the second round of the quarter finals will take place against the Turkish team of Arkas Izmir and the Cimone Volley team are looking for a performance that will take them through to the Final Four.
After the 3-2 defeat in the first round, Cimone Volley must now try to win the second round and then, as the rules state, also win the play-off.
“ To win four sets against a good team like the turkish one is not an easy job but we can do it and we want to do it” said Cimone Volley’s trainer Bruno Bagnoli. “ I would like to make an appeal to our fans to fill the Palapanini on Wednesday night to support us in this important match.’
Due to the Cimone Volley – Arkas Izmir match, Pallavolo Modena has decided to lower the ticket prices. These are the ticket prices: STALLS 10 EURO (REDUCED RATE 8 EURO): STANDS 5 EURO (REDUCED RATE 3 EURO).
Season ticket holders will be able to enter for free.

Infront of a crowd of 3500 at the Palapanini, Cimone Volley continue their success in the A1 TIM League and win 3-1 against the Italian Champions, Lube Macerata (25-20 25-21 21-25 25-23) in the third day of the second round. The Cimone Volley team, without Sartoretti and Sidao (substituted by Giombini and Tagliatti) dominated for the first 2 sets, after which the match evened out. Murilo ( who was awarded the best player of the match) and Ricardinho urged their teammates along with a match full of character and quality from all the group.
The three points won allow Cimone Volley to reach a quota of 33 and to rise to second place in the league table.

Cimone Volley started the match with the diagonals Ricardinho-Sartoretti, Felipe-Murilo, Sidao-Rak and Messana libero, while the hosts had Keskin, Duerden as right side hitter, Suela and Gaston Giani
as smashers, Oner and Pasaoglu as middle blockers and Kandemir as libero. The first two sets were equally balanced but were won in the end by Modena, while in the third set Cimone Volley made a few too many errors. During the third set Sartoretti came off due to a physical problem and was replaced by Giombini. In the fourth set the host team were still leading and Cimone Volley made some changes: Casтli replaced Murilo, Bellini replaced Ricardinho and Giani replaced Giombini.
In the fifth set Bagnoli drew up the follwing diagonals: Ricardinho-Giani, Murilo-Felipe and Rak-Sidao. Modena found itself ahead 9-7 and the set is very close. Three match points for Cimone Volley (13-14 14-15 15-16) were cancelled by the attacks from the host team. At 16-16 Felipe attacks with a ‘pipe’and the wall point ends the match (18-16). To pass through to the next round and so pass to the Final Four of Top Teams Cup, Cimone Volley must win the second round which will take place next Wednesday February 7 at the Palapanini and also win the play-off match.
Meanwhile on Sunday the A1 TIM League Championship returns and a great match is scheduled at the Palapanini (starting at 18.05): Cimone Volley – Lube Macerata (valid for the third round). The advance sale of tickets is already available from the branches of the ‘Banca Popolare dell’Emilia Romagna’ and from the Palapanini offices in Modena.
