26.03.2007 - BITANCOURT NALBERT HAS ARRIVED IN MODENA!
He landed at around 16.10 yesterday afternoon at Bologna airport: He was smiling and accompanied by his girlfriend Danielle and was welcomed by the managers of Pallavolo Modena, journalists and Cimone Volley fans. We are talking about Bitancourt Nalbert, the newest purchase for Cimone Volley, who is ready to dive in enthusiastically to the new Cimone Volley adventure: " I am really happy to be in Modena. I wanted to get back to playing indoor volleyball: In Italy the best volleyball is played and Modena is a really great club. I know lots about Modena, as I already came here when I played for Macerata, and Ricardinho has spoke about it to me in recent months. I can't wait to play: physically and technically I'm well, now I only have to get training with the team. The aims? Modena is a great team and it must aim to win." From today Nalbert will be in the gym with his team mates, available to coach Bruno Bagnoli. His debut will be next Monday, April 2, when Verona will come to the Palapanini (20.30). The second consecutive smile for Cimone Volley. After the victory against Taranto, yesterday Cimone Volley beat the difficult opponents of Itas Trento 3-2. It was a really big test for Cimone Volley who had, once again, Ricardinho to lead the match and Sartoretti as a right side hitter. Thanks to these 2 points Cimone Volley remain fifth in the league table. Cimone Volley will return to the court on Monday April 2 at 20.30 at the Palapanini in Modena to play against Marmi Lanza Verona. Cimone Volley - Prisma Taranto 3-0 (25-19 25-23 27-25)
In the postponed match of the ninth day of the second round of the A1 TIM League, Cimone Volley won 3 important points in the play-off. It was a heart and soul match for Cimone Volley, who played without Rak and Sartoretti and with Sidao and Ricardo on court for a short time only. The whole group played well, finding class hits and determination to close the three sets. The best player of the match went to Leondino Giombini who closed with 15 points of which three were at the wall.
Bruno Bagnoli (Cimone Volley's coach) said " I have always had faith in all the boys. We had an excellent match and now will we turn our thoughts to Trento."
On Sunday Cimone Volley will play Trento in an away match.

Tonight, Thursday March 22, Cimone Volley go onto court at 20.30 against Prisma Taranto in in the postponed match of the A1 TIM League.
Pallavolo Modena intends to offer a great opportunity to Cimone Volley fans: "Bring a friend to the Palapanini."
All Cimone Volley season ticket holders for the 2006/7 season will be able to invite a friend to come to the match this evening against Taranto for free.
By turning up at the Palapanini this evening and showing your season ticket, the ticket holder will be able to let one friend in for free.

Cimone Volley have made it into the final of the Final Four of Top Teams Cup. The team beat the strong russian team of Iskra Odintsovo at the Palapanini with a score of 3-0 and today, Sunday, the final will be played against the Slovenian team of Autocommerce Bled (Sunday at 16.00).

It is an event surrounded by excitement: Cimone Volley, Iskra Odintsovo, Autocommerce Bled and Rabotnicki Skopje are in contention of this prestigious european title.
The first semifinal between Bled and Skopje starts at 15.00 and then at 18.10 the second semifinal between Cimone Volley and Iskra Odintsovo will take place.
The Palapanini ticket ofices will open around 14.00.
For the occasion Pallavolo Modena has made a celebratory T-shirt of the event.
The T-shrt will be on sale from the 'Torcida Giallablu' and 'Kollettivo Gialloblu' stands in the entrance hall of the Palapanini for 5 Euro.
All under 18's who buy a ticket on Saturday or Sunday will receive the T-shirt free. On buying the ticket from the Palapanini box office, the under 18's will receive a ticket which they can exchange for a T-shirt at the aforementioned stands.
