PALACASAMODENA – Derby d’Italia number 98 is confirmed match of emotions, intense and fight. Casa Modena won after 2 hours of match Vs Sisley Treviso after a match full of coupe de theatre.
ThE MATCH is played in a PalaCasaModena dressed up for a vernissage with 4000 supporters.
Before the match Dennis is awarded as top Scorer of the League for last Season.
Casa Modena started well witha super Kooy and a great Angel Dennis. gialloblù team put them in didfficoulty with the serves of Kooistra and the work of the Russian Player Yuri Berezhko, at His first match at PalaCasaModena.
Modena won the first two sets and also in the third ithey s i primi due set piuttosto nettamente ed anche nel terzo è sempre avanti fino al match point sul 24-23. Quando la partita sembra chiusa, la Sisley “risorge”, vince il terzo ai vantaggi e grazie ad un Fei ritrovato si impone anche nel quarto.
Si arriva così al quinto parziale, Modena ritrova il suo gioco e va prima 8-4, poi 10-5. Treviso non ci sta impatta sul 11-11. Il finale è ancor più denso di emozioni, il pubblico gialloblù spinge Casa Modena fino al muro finale di Dennis su Maruotti per il 16-14 che fa esplodere di gioia il PalaCasaModena.
Al termine del match è premiato Mvp il giovane schiacciatore olandese Dick Kooy.
Silvano Prandi: “Nel complesso è stata una partita da parte nostra, certo avremmo potuto chiudere 3-0 e dopo il ko nel terzo set c’è stato un contraccolpo psicologico. Siamo stati bravi a reagire nel quinto set. I cambi? Abbiamo un panchina lunga ed affidabile”.
Roberto Piazza: “Sono molto rammaricato per i primi due set: non abbiamo giocato. Poi è vero c’è stata una bella reazione, ma dovevamo iniziare a giocare prima”.

Rest day for Casa Modena, after the victory and the emotion of yesterday. Tomorrow the team will be in gym for a double training : athletic work in the morning and and technical - tactic work in the afternoon (5,00 pm).
The victory 3-2 at PalaBianchini brought 2 points and some trust to start in the right way the adventure in season 2010/2011.
Rest for athlets, work in office . Mr Bruno Da Re, Gm of Casa Modena, who yesterday was as usula in Latina with the team, said" I think we have to be satisfied about the results we obtained, we played vs a team which showed its value , with great players like Starovic e Kovacevic, and which plays in a hot environment.
We caamo out of a difficoult week, both for the training and for the friendly match lost in Trento
– Abbiamo giocato contro un avversario che ha dimostrato tutto il suo valore, che ha ottime individualità come Starovic e Kovacevic e che gioca in un ambiente “caldo”. Noi poi venivamo da un settimana delicata sia per la preparazione sia perchè non avevamo fatto bene nell’amichevole a Trento. Certo dobbiamo crescere ancora molto e credo che il fondamentale che può farci fare un salto di qualità sia il muro, lì dobbiamo fare qualcosa in più... Comunque, anche se non sono arrivati i tre punti, è stata una vittoria preziosa. In particolare ci tenevo a rivedere il gruppo dell’anno scorso e per tanti momenti l’ho visto: un gruppo unito che non si scompone davanti alle difficoltà. Ieri per esempio la squadra ha reagito ad alcune decisioni arbitrali dubbie ed a quell’ace fortunoso che aveva mandato Latina al match point. Ho visto segnali incoraggianti dalla diagonale Esko-Dennis, Kooy ha confermato la sua crescita tecnica ed umana e la nota positiva è la prestazione di Berezhko che al suo esordio nel campionato italiano e con pochissimi allenamenti con i compagni ad un certo punto ha fatto la differenza da campione vero sia in battuta che in attacco. Ripeto siamo ancora all’inizio, dobbiamo lavorare tanto e crescere, ma la vittoria di ieri è stata importante”.

Casa Modena started in the 66° Championship of A1 with a match on the difficoul court of Androli! Gialloblu won in PalaBianchini in Latina after two hours and an half of emotion and an intense and rich of coups de Theatre
volleyball.
After having won the first set Dennis and Mates lost the following 2 , but they went on and at the fifth set, vs an Andreoli who showed great technical abilities, imposed themselves in a final part full of emotions.
Best scorer gialloblu the young dutch boy Dick Kooy, with 22 points.
Next Saturday 31 st October at 6,00 pm at PalaCasaModena will be played the Derby d'Italia vs Sisley Treviso for the second day of A1

18.10.2010 - BRUNO DA RE ABOUT COUNT DOWN TO THE CHAMPIONSHIP: WEDNESDAY TEST IN TRENTO
Count down for the start up of the 66° Championship of A1 started. Next weekend 1st day will be played, and Sunday Casa Modena will play in Latina vs ’Andreoli team of Vujevic and Giombini and of Serbian players, bronze medal at last world championship, Starovic and Kovacevic.
gialloblù finally met last Thursday with the arrival of Yuri Berezhko.
Last Saturday in Carpi Casa Modena Played and won the "trofeo delle stelle", a tournament with Monza and Forlì: They lost 1-2 vs Acqua Paradiso Monza and won 2-1 vs Yoga Forlì.
GM Bruno Da Re said “the one of last Saturday was a great opportunity , playing sets was important I saw good and bad things.. I loved the new players Creus, Fabroni and Casadei and we found a good Kooy, with an excellent presence on court.
They have to create feeling with Berezhko and we have to find out our diagonal .it is starting an important week: On Sunday Championship will start, time to find our equilibrium is not too muche, we have to be fast and do well!".
TEST IN TRENTO. Important Friendly match will be played by Casa Modena Wednesday In Trento vs the Champion of Europe team Itas Diatec Trentino.

07.09.2010 - LARRY CREUS IN MAZDA:"I'M GOING TO EXPLAIN MY NICKNAME AND WHY I WANT TO WIN"
Casa Modena Is back in gym! After a week-end of rest, today for Gialloblu team started the second week of work: gym in the morning, tactic and technical work in the afternoon.
In field also Lerry Creus, expert midfield born in 1981 in Buenos Aires, 201 cms. Creus played in River Plate before moving to Europe, 4 years in Numancia in Spain (2002-2006), than Italy in Castellana Grotte, Forlì, Castellana Grotte again and last year in Zinella Bologna of Hugo Conte: “Last Year we played a lot of friendly match vs Modena, may be Modena started appreciating me there, if I had known that I would have played better.!" said a kind and happy Creus, really motivated on his new experience.
Yestrday creus recieved a Mazda 3 by Roberta Ferrari, owner of Giorgio Ferrari Srl, (Mazda, Jaguar, Land Rover…)Official partner of Pallavolo Modena.
We are going to know more about the new gialloblu midfield....

“it's a long story: in Argentina was played an american sit com named “Los Tres chiflados” (“the three crazy men”). It was a sit com from the 50s, mute cinema in white and black with three nice characters.
I was 15 and I played in Juniores National Team, My mates named me Larry because I was a little bit crazy, more than now... than in Spain they put the name Larry on my t shirt, so I have been named like that since that year. People don't know my name is Sebastian, but I like Larry. I love play to win keeping my responsabilities.

ROLE. “I Have never been a second choice, I can see I'm allergic to the bench and in my past I refused some team of A1 for this reason. Here in Modena I know that there are excellent players like Marco Piscopo and Wytze Kooistra. I'm at Prandi disposal, and I'll do my best in a good sport competition. I'll do my best to be ready. The season is long with a lot of matches. I think everybody will have space."
AIMS. “IT''S difficoult to say where we can go. There are strong teams who want to win everything, first of all the Italian Shield. We want to stay among the best ones, we want to fight versus each team. "

15.07.2010 - CALENDAR OF EVENTS SERIE A 1: CASA MODENA WILL GIVE ITS FIRST PERFORMANCE VS LATINA, THAN TREVISO AT PALAPANINI
It's now official. This morning at Savoia Hotel Regency di Bologna the calendar of events of the 66th Championsip of A1 was presented. First performance in Latina the 24th October, the week after firs performance at home vs Sysley Treviso for the Derby d'Italia.
Really intensive the group of challenges from the 5th to the 8th: Trento and Cuneo, Forlì out , and Macerata at Home. Last match of the first tournament in Monza.
Bruno Da Re said”Our Calendar of events is not the best one, it's difficoult, similar to the first last year one. I think it' doesn't respect the forces we saw last year..., but that's the calendar and we are going to face up to it serenely, playing match after match and thinking to the value of the other teams, not to the sequence of matches. I think it will be a championship more difficoult than last one, there are no "mattress teams". I see Trento and Cuneo with superior teams. We want to aspire to the highest position and we want to stay with the strongest...."

12.07.2010 - SEASONAL TICKETS SALES CAMPAIGN "ONE OF US" STARTED: 77 TICKETS THE FIRST DAY!
First day of seasonal tickets sales campaign for Pallavolo Modena- Casa Modena 2010-2011.
"One of us"is the chosen slogan to underline the strong link between supporters and team.
Today Monday 12th July, first day reserved to old seasonal tickets-holders , 77 tickets were subscribed , increasing the result of the first day of last year. A signal of enthusiasm you can find under "Ghirlandina".
The campaign is going on at every branch of BPER . Up to Friday 23rd the old "holders" will be able to renew the seasonal ticket with the pre-emption, than space to everybody.
The seasonal ticket is "All Inclusive": all the matches that Casa Modena will play at home (Regular Season, Play-Offs, Coppa Italia, Coppa Cev) are included.
Prices are from 60 to 600 Euros, News: “Curva Ghirlandina”, sectors and seats that will have to be respected and a great offer of Caffè Cagliari only for seasonal-ticket-holders.
