Giuliani starts with Grbic and Nikolov, Wijsmans and Parodi , Fortunato and Volkov , Henno libero. Silvano Prandi, without Berezhko and Casadei, answers with Esko , Dennis, Casoli and Diaz (preferred to Kooy) , Piscopo and Kooistra and Manià libero.
Cuneo marked a couple of points and kept them for the whole set (8-7 and 16-12 at technical time outs), Modena is better in attacking (52% vs 48% di Cuneo), but too much mistakes(10, 8 serving ) helped Cuneo, which closed 25-21. At the end of the set Giuliani let Gigi Mastrangelo in, and Prandi Kooy for Diaz.
Second set with Cuneo back on court with the starting six while PRrandio let Creus for Koistra in and went 2 points forward, Cuneo was back and Overide Modena on 18-17, staying forward up to the end.
Giuliani' s players grew up in attack (8 points and 73% of Wijsmans, 6 points and 75% of Parodi) On the contrary Modena, -except for a great Dennis (6 points and 86% in attack), missed the other spikers , with Casoli who closed with only 25% (2 points). Third set with Modena which reachad an advantage of 4 points, but the gialloblu team wasn't able to keep them. At the end Mastrangelo signed a block on Diaz and a fast attck which brought Cuneo on 23-21. He scored also the set match point , 25-22 and 3-0 for Cuneo.
Luigi Mastrangelo (Bre Banca Lannutti Cuneo): "My start up was good, because I don't train every day and GIULIANI is using me as Part Time. We are not at 100% but we are on the right way. We always keep on. Also when we are 4 points under!"
Angel Dennis (Casa Modena): "I'm quite good, today we wanted something more, but it's important to underline that this 3-0 is different from the ones vs Trento and Piacenza, vs Piacenza we didn't play. We have to accept the lost and go on."

PALACASAMODENA – Itas diatec imposed itself on Modena parquet and comfirmed itself as leader of the classification. Trento had always conduced the matchexcept for the second set when Modena played a good volleyball and was forward on 15-12 having the ball of the possible 16-12 with the concrete possibility of re-opening the match.
Without its capitain Angel Dennis, Casa Modena started with Alberto Casadei and Berezhko-Kooy in place 4, but Starting from the 2nd set Silvano Prandi let Luis Diaz with Esko and Casoli spiker play. in third set the gialloblù coach tried changing also the regisseur inserting Fabroni.
Juantorena was important ForTrento , in the most important part of the secon set the Cuban Spiker had been decisive.
Looking at the numbers you can see that Trento was better in attack (57% vs 43% of Modena) and for the blocks(12 vs 5 Of Modena, all of them by Marco Piscopo).

Silvano Prandi: “We had known it would have been a Difficoult match vs a strong team. We played under our level, we have to go on working and I'm looking a good order , becouse today we sudìfered too much."
Radostin Stoytchev: “We were good in being agressive from the fbeginning and I think that was really important. We were also good in reacting in fourth set when Modena was forward. Modena is not on top, Probably I expected a different reaction, I think this is not the real MODENA.”.

Everything ready for the seasonal debut in Europe! Casa Modena tomorrow night (17th November) will play at PalaCasamodena vs Mladost Zagabria the first match of the prestigious CEV CUP. (8,30 PM) the second match will be played Wdenesday the 24th in Zagreb.
The tournament is organized with first and second match - knock out competition , In case of a Win for each team, at the end of the second match will be played an extra set (golden set) .
The team which will go on will play vs the winner of the match between Anorthosis Famagusta (Cyprus ) and Volley Amriswil (Switzerland).
MLADOST ZAGABRIA. Croatian (no foreign players) and young team (athlets born from 1983 to 1992) trained by Zeljko Nojic.

“I Agree to Mr. Prandi, the team is a "work in progress" , We Need to to understand our problems and we need to do it well and in a short time, then we have to find the solutions".
Las match was The third win in four days of championship, the third at the fifth set.
“We have to underline the ability of the team to reverse the situation although a difficoult moment, and I want to thank our supporters and the CURVA GHIRLANDINA for their help . In the third set some criticsm arrived from the stands and this may have stimulated our players, In 4th and 5th the groups from curva Ghirlandina involved the whole "palazzo", and even if we were loosing 8-3 they had always believed .

PALACASAMODENA - After the emotions of the Derby D'italia played last Sunday and a Monday of rest, Dennis and mates were back to work with a double training at PalaCasaModena: training in gym in the morning and friendly match in the afternoon.
The German team VFB Friedrichshafen won the last championship and will play the next champions League. The coach is Mr. Stelian Moculescu, and he trains athlets like Tichacek, the spikers Gontariu, Trommel, and Winters, Boheme (class 1985 for 211 cm) and the portoguise Josè.
The Coach Mr Silvano Prandi phd let Esko-Dennis, Berezhko-Kooy, Piscopo-Creus and Manià as libero play.
After a good first set , Casa Modena was submitted to the rythm of the Germans.
In third four and fifth sets (played although the match had already finished,) space for Fabroni, Diaz, Kooistra, Casoli and Ciabattini.
Next Sunday , 7 th Novembr, Casa Modena will play in Piacenza in a difficoult transfert on court of Copra Morpho Piacenza (Palabanca Piacenza at 6,00 pm)
Tomorrow the two teams will train in Palacasamodena without play a match.
