16.03.2011 - SATURDAY MATCH VS CASTELLANA. KOOY SPEAKING.PALLAVOLO MODENA AND THE 150 YEARS SINCE THE ITALY UNION
Double training today for Casa Modena. regular season of Serie A1 Sustenium is now in its hottest part. Only 3 days left and teams are playing both for the top part of the list and to avoid relegation.
Saturday 19th March Gialloblu will host at PalaCasaModena at 5,00 pm BCC NEP Castellana Grotte for the 11th day . The Apulian have just won vs Vibo Valentia and in the second half are traveling as big teams do (7 wins in last 10 matches)
Casa Modena too is playIng well, but they know Castellana's value and which difficulties they will find next Saturday.
“We are playing a good volleyball, we are growing up, but we have to improve both level and continuity.
-said Dick Kooy – I believe we grow up in trainings too , and you can see it on Sunday. Bagnoli works on technique and on reducing mistakes.
. I feel good, i talked to Daniele, I understood I can be important although I don't play each match. I must always be ready, this way we improve the level our trainings, team grew up and during the match everybody is ready if needed.
Castellana? It's a good team, during the second half obtained great results, they are up to smuff and next match will be decisive. It will be a difficult match, but we want to win possibly making 3 points . We play at home with our supporters, we need and want point for play off. 4th place? it depends on other teams too, but we believe in it.. if we make points..."

15.03.2011 - APPEAL OF TONNO CALLIPO REFUSED BY CAF: VIBO-CASA MODENA 0-3
CAF fipav refused the appeal by Tonno Callipo Vibo Valentia, after having assessed the two parts last week and read the memories.
This judgment confirmed the measure taken by Giudice Unico Federale (GUF), who had already rejected the complain by Tonno Callipo about Tonno Callipo Vibo Valentia-Casa Modena played last 6th february (4 th day Serie A1 Sustenium).
Also in this Judicial Level is confirmed what happened on court :Tonno Callipo-Casa Modena 0-3.

Pallavolo Modena communicated the contract with Mr Silvano Prandi PHD had been terminated in advance.
Pallavolo Modena thanks Mr. Silvano Prandi for his profesionalism in doing his Job in Gialloblu and says "good Luck " For His next both personal and professional commitments.
Today, ( Monday 24th January 2011) at 6,00 pm at Palacasamodena the new coach, Mr Daniele Bagnoli, will be presented.

PALACASAMODENA – SISLEY Treviso won the Derby D'Italia Number 99 and flies to the Final four of Coppa Italia. They conquered the Palacasamodena at the end of a match full of emotion. After More than two Hours of Adrenaline Casa Modena was defeated after having almost changed the story of the match.
At the end the difference was on block : 22 for Treviso, 2 for Modena.
Treviso had dominated the match since the beginning with Fei, kovar and the pivot Boninfante. Modena Had difficulties in defence and attack, so lost the first set and went down 8-2 on second one. Coach Prandi changed the whole starting six and let Fabroni, Casadei, Casoli and Kooy play . on 11-3 the match seemed to be closed, but Casa Modena clutched at Casoli's Experience (simply majestic) and at the enthusiasm OF Casoli and Kooy. Giallblu catched up with Sisley , Pala CaSaModena is a bedlam up to the 33-31 which brought the teams to standoff.
In third set Modena signed a decisive break and goas to 18-14 with a great Casadei. Than Treviso grew up, Papi and Horstink entered and this time was Sisley to be miraculated: from 21-23 for Modena signed important blocks with Boninfante, went to standoff and closed 30-28 in another full of emotion final of set.
In fourth Treviso had been forward since the beginning, Modena is tired, the orogranata flew away closing 25-16.
Silvano Prandi: “I can't understand our start up. After Monza we had a breakdown and we have to self examinate, analysing the moment and be good in restarting".
Roberto Piazza: “We Coul and had to close the second set, but we were good in reorganize the defence. Hal final vs Trento? last time we lost, and their coach said they were at 60%... we Hope on saturday they will be at 50%.."

07.01.2011 - CASA MODENA IS WALKING TO MONZA. LUIS DIAZ'S OPINION. SUPPORTERS' BUSES
Long and Intense Gialloblu week will close Sunday with an important appointment. After two wins (last Sunday vs Verona 3-2 and Yesterday in Cev Cup vs Ziraat Bankasi Ankara(3-1),) Casa Modena will play vs Acqua Paradiso in Monza next Sunday (9th January).
This match is important for the championship, but essential for Coppa Italia, Actually the first 8 teams in List at the end of the first half of Championship will make up the scheme of the Cup.
”We play for the 4th place, it's important both for us and for them- said Luis Diaz – Last Year we lost 3-1 In Monza despite a good match, It's a difficult match, they are a good team, they come from two consecutives lost , so I think they would like to win,. we have to keep on and be concentarated on each ball. We are playing a lot , every 3 days. We are a bit tired, but playng helps us becoming a team."

PALACASAMODENA – A lot of emotion at PalaCasaModena!
Gialloblu team and supporters were gifted spending an Epiphany day with a fight match valid as first match of quarter finals of Cev Cup.
After two Hours of intensive volleyball Casa Modena won vs Ziraat Bankasi Ankara , team who showed it's one of the top teams in Europe.
Without Yuri Berezhko (rest for him), Silvano Prandi confirmed Dick Kooy and put in the starting six Alberto Casadei. Turkish team answered with coach Plamen Konstantinov , who choose Tischer , Platenik and Celitans.
It was a balanced team, all sets closed at advantages. Casa Modena found in Kooy and Diaz two Pivots, and in 2nd and 3rd Set we saw Angel Dennis. For the team of Ankara, good match for Celitans, which closed with 27 points and 57% in attack.
Forward 2-0 Modena felt the technical grow up of Ziraat, they lost the third set and was losing also the fourth partial. We have to tell about the final part of the fourt set. Gialloblu team had always had to follow (13-16 and 19-21) but thanks to a block by Marco Fabroni they reached the Turkish team. Than we had a "point on point"wit set-balls both for Modena and For Ankara; up to the Block by Laary Creus (the Sixth in the match), which closed the first match.
The second match will be played in Ankara next Wednesday (the 12th) at Başkent Sport Hall of Ankara, which can host up to 8000 people!
Also the quarter finals is made up first and second match (direct fail). In case of a win for each team (the set difference is not important) an extra set will be played (golden set).
PALLAVOLO MODENA AND TURKISH AIRLINES. Before the match was signed the prestigious partnership between Turkish Airlines (Turkish official airlines) and Pallavolo Modena.
The Gialloblu Capitain Angel Dennis gave one of his t-shirts to Mr. Tarkan Ince, Director of Turkish Airlines Bologna Airport and one to Mr. Fatih Atacan Temel, Station Manager Bologna Airport.
A group of 30 people, made up of managers, operators and families of Turkish Airlines was at PalaCasaModena for the match.

04.01.2011 - CEV CUP AT PALACASAMODENA NEXT THURSDAY AT 6,00 PM. SOMETHING ABOUT ZIRAAT BANKASI ANKARA
From Italy to Europe, CasaModena is ready for Cev Cup and will afford a difficult match.
Gialloblu will play Thursday 6th January at 6,00 pm at PalaCasaModena vs Ziraat Bankasi Ankara for the first match of the quarter finals of Cv Cup. The second match will be played in Ankara Wednesday the 12th January.
It will be a fascinating and difficult match considering that the Turkish team is a good one and has high quality players.

Ziraat Bankasi Sport Club was founded in 1981 and it's considered one of the most important in Turkey. It's the Club of Ankara, Capital City of Turkey which counts 4 millions inhabitants. In the showcase of the club you can see a Cup and a super Cup won last year, when Ziraat was second in Championship.
The team plays its "home " matches at Başkent Sport Hall, which can host up to 8000 people!
The team is trained by Plamen Konstantinov (one of the most famous Bulgarian players at his firs experience as coach) and they are second in championship, Turkish volleyball is growing up both for the technical level and for the investments done, and the championship is now one of the interesting in Europe.
Konstantinov often changes the starting six:, but probably we will see the captain, the German player Simon Tischer, the opposite spiker Gundars Celitans, Peter Platenik (seen in Italy in Cuneo, Milano and Padova) and Cin Kadir as spikers, Tekeli and Akseker and Ozger libero.

27.12.2010 - DAD MIKKO ESKO: " KEEP THE FOURTH PLACE!"
He celebrated in Modena his first Christmas as "dad" with his wife Sarah and little Leo, born there last Monday.
This Morning Mikko Wsko, Finnish player of Casa Modena, after the match in Castellana Grotte went to the register of births to register little Leo, griffed gialloblu.
"it's something difficult to explain, said Esko senior, something I couldn't imagine before, now I can understand a lot of new things, my life changed , it's the best gift I have ever recieved. And I was happy to stay with Sarah during the birth and in the very first day. Leo is fine, he eats, sleeps and he is quite good also at night.Also Sarah is well, we were lucky.!"
Yesterday in Puglia Casa Modena got an important win (Esko was awarded as mwp), which brought Gialloblu team to the fourt place. "we played a good match, two balanced sets, than two excellent sets.Castellana is a good team, they wanted to get points, but we showed a great volleyball and I'm happy about what we did. At the beginning of the season we were hardly able. Now I see there are more good than bad things in our volleyball and I love this. We can trust each other, so we can play serenely. I have to thanks my mates who are doing well and helping me, Now we have to keep on!"
There is a lot of volleyball in Esko and Casa Modena Holidays ( 5 matches of championship and two matches of Cev cup in December ) and a full beginning of 2011 too: 2nd January casa Modena Vs Marmi Lanza, 6th January (at PalaCasaModena) first match of quarter finals of cev Cup vsAnkara and 9thJanuary match vs Monza. "it's an intensive period, we are tired, but we need to play . the results of yesterday (Monza and Treviso who lost) had been some great news for us, We are fourth and we want to stay here. So now we have to win twice!"

CASTELLANA GROTTE - Casa Modena got another important win and on the 11th day of A1 conquered the difficult parquet of Castellana Grotte.
Balance in the first two sets with BCC-NEP good in closing Dennis and playng point on point. Prandi put Casadei for the cUban player and Modena Won the first set at advantages with the usual possibility wasted by the local team on 22-20. Also more balanced the second set with Evandro, who brought his team in attacking and answering a good Diaz well served by MWP Esko, Rodriguez took advantages of a casadei's mistake and went to 1-1.
the second part of the match is a gialloblu monologue, with Kooistra and Dennis. A Win signed by the whole group..
