During the second half of the season, in fact, the two Trenkwalder Modena’s liberos, Pietro Rinaldi and Edoardo Ciabattini, will dress the Goku’s shoes, the very strong Super Saiyan, endowed with an exceptional strength, workout lover and martial arts fan.
The characters of Dragon Ball’s "team", such as the players of the volleyball’s team, are able to become more and more powerful thanks to the workout and the strength of will.
Dragon Ball is born as a manga, written by Akira Toriyama and it has been published for the first time in Japan in episodes on the weekly newspaper Shonen Jump from 1984 to1995, episodes then gathered in 42 volumes nowadays still reprinted.
Since 1995, in Italy, Star Comics has been publishing the very famous manga Dragon Ball and it has been the first manga written from right to left.
Today it is still on sale the third reprint, partially censored, called "Dragon Ball Perfect Edition", composed of 34 volumes.
From the very notorious manga Dragon Ball, it has drawn the even more notorious cartoon still broadcast at 14:40 on Italia 1.
It is plenty of fans that follow every day Goku and his friends’ adventures: since December 2005 the cartoon has been continuously broadcasting with the three series Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball GT and the reply of the Z serie from January 2008.
At a three years distance from the first broadcast episode, Dragon Ball is still followed by more than two million viewers.
PLOT
Goku lives quiet in the mountains, when a day meets Bulma, a girl that is looking for the legendary Dragon Balls. It is said that the balls, once joined all 7 together, can grant whatever wish.
And so it starts an unbelievable story; the destiny wants the ball, given to Goku by his grandfather, to be one of the legendary Dragon’s balls!Thus Goku and Bulma will become the main characters of a series of astonishing adventures seeking for the 7 balls!
The story goes on with Dragon Ball Z, the second series of cartoon. The characters have grown up; Goku and his family, together with the son Gohan, live in a peaceful world. But soon the peace is interrupted by Raditz, the potent warrior Sayion intent upon to conquer the world. Raditz announces Goku to be his brother and tries to convince him to join himself in the war for the world’s conquest. In the second series, not only Goku reveals his powers as Super Saiyan, but also the little Gohan discovers to have powers even superior to his father. The absorbing story keeps going for 291 episodes and it will see our heroes fighting against very potent enemies among which Cell, Freezer, Majin Bu...
The last cartoon’s series produced is GT; it has been created, on purpose, for the television and it doesn’t derive from a manga. We find Goku again that, at the beginning of the series is transformed into a child thanks to the power of the 7 Sealed Balls. As soon as the energy emitted by the balls transforms Goku into a child, the 7 balls disperse in the space. However these special balls have a power much bigger than the others already known... they should have been joined within one year, otherwise the world will disappear! Therefore Goku leaves again seeking for the Dragon Balls...this time he will have to venture into the space...
