|
The tradition of great volleyball in Modena, real birthplace of this marvellous sport, is secured. The new company is Pallavolo Modena, and it’s really impregnated of the spirit of the city. In fact, Pallavolo Modena has been created thanks to the entrepeneural enthusiasm of two families, the Barone and Grani, long-time lovers of sport.
Mr. Giuliano Grani is the President of the company. Together with his brothers Antonio and Enrico he runs the numerous activities of his family, which has always been affectionate to the world of sport and now captured by the love for volleyball.
Pallavolo Modena’s Honorary President is Mr. Antonio Barone, already famous in Modena as a champion in athletics and volleyball itself with Minelli, Ciam and Panini during the sixties, nowadays established entrepeneur in the coke area. At his side there is Mrs. Catia Pedrini, responsible for the activities of Pallavolo Modena’s youth area.
The link between Pallavolo Modena and the territory is more than strong, and this thanks to all the relationships created between the company and many economic and entrepreneurial realities and institutions of the area of Modena.

Particularly, this season has seen the birth of a very satisfactory partnership with the Consorzio del Cimone, to the point that the team itself will be named “Cimone Volley”: the territory and Modena’s Appennino will be at the side of the team in its new adventure.
The partnership with Scuola di Pallavolo Anderlini is one of the most important among the ones created by Pallavolo Modena. It establishes, in fact, the productive cooperation with the world-wide outstanding academy of volleyball led by Rodolfo Giovenzana and Andrea Nannini, and it will take care of all the youth area of the “gialloblu”.

To sum up, Pallavolo Modena is a new young company, highly motivated and that works hard to plan the best possible present and future for volleyball in Modena. Good way to start!
